Hahaha… I’m good friends with Jake (Gallowbraid mastermind) and have been for a number of years before this project ever took off. He hates it entirely, and won’t release anything under that name again. Pretty sure he’s in a band called Visigoth now.

Well, that’s unfortunate (that he hates it). I really enjoy it. I’m glad I stumbled on it. The album happened to be in a huge clump of other various ambient, folk, prog, and black metal that I got a hold of awhile back, a lot of which I’d never heard or heard of, which is mega refreshing. I’ll definitely check out his other stuff and see what it’s like. Thanks for a heads up on it.

I started to post all annoyed and shit, and I was gonna be all, “Boohoo, how come sometimes the ‘friends’ and ‘acquaintances’ and ‘people’ you talk to/meet/interact with online are SoOoOoOoO much cooler than most of the ones you meet/know in real life?!”

And then I realized that of course it’s because on the internet, your interests are flat out there and you can be all stoked on how you and this random person forever away both enjoy black metal murders, big tits, Vikings, and kittens. In real life you have to indoctrinate other people to like this shit, or spread your interests thinly through friends. Most of the time anyways.
